Understanding Freezing of Gait

A short survey from the Project90 student team, in partnership with the Parkinson Association of Alberta

Hello! We’re a group of students working in partnership with the Parkinson Association of Alberta. We’re trying to design something that could help people with Parkinson’s who experience “freezing of gait.” Moments where your feet feel stuck to the floor, even though the rest of you wants to keep moving.

Before we build anything, we want to understand what freezing actually feels like for you: when it happens, what helps you get moving again, and what would genuinely make a difference in your day-to-day life.

Your answers will be combined with everyone else’s and looked at as a group; nobody will see your individual responses attached to your name. It should take about 5–10 minutes to fill out. Thank you for helping us learn from your experience.

Please note that refreshing this page will delete form progress. We recommend writing your answers in a separate document first!
