Prosthetic Sock Pressure Sensor
In collaboration with Calgary Sensor Lab and Cascade Prosthetics, the Project90 team designed a prosthetic pressure sensor that enables prosthetists to create more comfortable prosthetic limbs.
- Created a custom pressure sensor array capable of measuring the entirety of the patient's load
- Successfully intgreated the sensor array into a reusable, sterile prosthetic sock form factor
- Programmed a 3D real-time pressure map of the patient's prosthetic limb
Partners: Cascade Prosthetics | Calgary Sensor Lab
Project Leads: Alice Wong & Neeor Alam
PONI Hip Abductor
With the help of the Ability Workshop Society, Project90 team members designed & built a custom assistive device engineered for a child with cerebral palsy and arthrogryposis, focusing on improving the childs stability, posture, and mobility in a format that minimizes the risk of injury.
- Fully Custom Design using Solidworks
- In-House wooden prototype
- Industry-grade metal and cushioned finish for final deliverable
Partners: Ability Workshop Society | Pediatric Onset of Neuromotor Impairments Lab
Project Managers: Caden Kjelgren
