Prosthetic Sock Pressure Sensor

DWC Costa Rica Water System

In collaboration with Calgary Sensor Lab and Cascade Prosthetics, the Project90 team designed a prosthetic pressure sensor that enables prosthetists to create more comfortable prosthetic limbs.

  • Created a custom pressure sensor array capable of measuring the entirety of the patient's load
  • Successfully intgreated the sensor array into a reusable, sterile prosthetic sock form factor
  • Programmed a 3D real-time pressure map of the patient's prosthetic limb
